The new chapter should be out by tomorrow at the latest, but here's another idea about why Aizen couldn't feel Ichigo's reiatsu:

When Aizen was in his cocoon state and was fighting Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi, Isshin said that he couldn't feel his reiatsu at all, it was like slashing at empty space. Later, when Aizen transformed into his next form (before butterfree form), we saw that Keigo, Tatsuki and co. were able to feel his reiatsu and sense when he was getting closer. So why was Isshin, a powerful shinigami, unable to sense his reiatsu and some simple humans able to? I think the reason may be because in his cocoon form, Aizen was still incomplete, under evolution. Remember when they broke him, he was empty inside. After he evolved, he was 'complete' and so it was possible to feel his reiatsu again.

Considering Aizen and Ichigo should be similar now, maybe Ichigo is still incomplete? And that's why Aizen was unable to sense him? Only thing that doesn't seem to fit, is why Aizen didn't thought of this and instead assumed that Ichigo failed... Hmm...Thoughts?

ah thats a good point pro, but yea that doesn't explain why Aizen didn't think of it himself. he might be bein cocky idk, we'll just have to see the next chapter.

hmm like he has evolved into a being higher than a hollow and shinigami? maybe he's closer to the Kings power o.O

i want Aizen to have a mental breakdown so bad >:D lol but yea i wonder what'll happen after the fight though, does the state he's using now (or what he's evolved too) use up all his current reitsu so he can't produce anymore? or does he just become exhausted? and what's with Aizen lookin like a butterfly, so manly~ lulz xD
