It doesn't have to be something flashy, just...something more. Maybe bankai-exclusive attacks like Hitsugaya, or extra abilities or..anything really. I used to think he'll be able to use that bankai thing he wears in some way, like Allen from DGM uses his cloak, but it doesn't seem so likely anymore...

Yep, that chain has to do something. Apart from its actual purpose though, I hope Ichigo uses it to spin his zanpakuto and throw it just like Shirosaki did. Totally badass!

Well, several humans were killed just by getting too close, Kanonji's staff disintegrated and a whole chunk of Gin's arm was cut off when Aizen tried to grab him.

But I'm pretty sure Ichigo's hand there is not shriveled. Gin's hands are always drawn the same way (and other characters, but mostly Gin).

It's possible that Aizen's body can't be touched without being destroyed or drained. It might be a "god" feature

But Ichigo should be on the same level at least after his training. Aizen basically copied Ichigo. Ichigo is the one who is a true hybrid, not Aizen. That's why Aizen took an interest in him ever since he was born and controlled his whole life so as to make him power upaccording to his potential. All that (I assume) to make a wish to the Hogyoku to make him the same. Ichigo and Aizen should be on around the same level right now.
